Your practice collections are below the minimal requirements of DSOs

Your practice is located within a geographical area unattractive to DSOs

Traditional Choice Benefits

  • One of the Nation's Most Experienced Brokers
    • Over 100+ collective years of dental experience selling dental practices exclusively.
    • Time tested successful brokers unlike many novice brokers with little to no experience.
    • We have put together a team of experienced representatives with relevant backgrounds to the dental transition market such.as attorneys, cpas, dentists, finance, sales and consulting.
  • Innovative Marketing Technology

Choice has invested and continues to dedicate a significant amount of money to the continual development of its interactive website in order to maintain a state of the art experience such as:

    • 3D virtual tours of our listings
    • Immediate access to marketing packages by pre-qualified and approved candidates
    • Internal tracking reports on the number of candidates investigating our listings
    • Fully automated DocuSign technology
    • Seller portal to monitor status of listing
  • No Conflicts of Interest - What We Are Not!

Our sole fiduciary duty is to our client, the seller, and our only goal is to get our client the best deal - period! Selling dental practices is all we do. This is where we differ significantly from many of our competitors who are either:

    • Dual Representation Brokerage Firms. Requiring commissions from both the seller and the buyer while representing both sides. That would be like a lawyer prosecuting and defending a client in the same case. A major conflict of interest.
    • Equipment & Supply Companies with in-house brokerage firms. Their "bread and butter" is the sale of dental equipment and supplies. Their underlying goal is to replace the seller with a buyer that will continue to purchase all supplies and equipment from them, where they make their annual profits, for the next 20-30 years, rather than finding the seller the best buyer or the best deal. The seller may not even be introduced to buyers purchasing from other competitors. A major conflict of interest.
    • Accounting Firms with in-house brokering. This is a recent trend, and is possibly the biggest conflict of interest of all. How can an accountant truly look out for the best interest of its client, the seller, when evaluating an offer, if they have a risk of losing a potentially significant commission?

Our Commitment

  • Timely and expedient communication. Your questions and inquiries are very important to us, and a timely response is a must. We pride ourselves in getting back to you within 24 hours. You will always have access to our team members at our corporate office who will be happy to assist, even when your local Consultant isn’t available.
  • Personalized & confidential consultation. We realize that your practice is one of your most valuable assets, and we act accordingly. You may have questions about the process, timeline, evaluation, current market trends, and overall transition strategy. Our Consultants will arrange a face-to-face or virtual meeting with you, at your convenience when your office is closed and no staff or patients are present. During this meeting, our consultants will tour your office, interview you to determine your preferred transitional goals, as well as answer any other questions you may have. Furthermore, we can assure you that confidentiality is key during the entire process to ensure your staff and patient retention.
  • Ongoing updates to keep you informed. During the listing process, your Choice Consultant will update you frequently as to the number of potential buyers inquiring about your opportunity, the positive or negative feedback those potential candidates are relaying about the practice, and comparable sales within your geographical area. This type of immediate feedback is invaluable in advising you during this transitional phase, and allows for more effective communication and collaboration during the sale process.
  • Guided Practice Showings. We strongly believe a selling dentist shouldn’t show their own practice to potential buyers without expert guidance. Our Consultants will make every reasonable attempt to be present for practice showings, when feasible, or will consult with you and the buyers in advance as to what actions to take at such meetings. Choice Consultants have worked with thousands of buyers and have completed over 1,000 transitions. They know what buyers find important, what to focus on, and how to help them better understand the best qualities of your practice.
  • We Are On Your Side. At Choice, our Consultants only represent one party, YOU, unlike some other brokers who represent both the buyer and seller, or are the CPA for the seller, both of which we believe are a HUGE conflict of interest. We will work with the buyers and their advisors to ensure a smooth and successful transition, but our sole fiduciary responsibility is to our sellers. Additionally, some dental brokers are also the dental equipment company for your practice. At Choice, we market to ALL buyers despite any affinity to what equipment company they prefer, creating a larger market for your practice.

What Our Clients Say About Us

Thank you Bernie.  I appreciate all of your guidance and help through the process.  It wasn't all easy but I'm glad that Matt is taking over.  He is fitting in well and the patients seem to be accepting him.  Thanks again.

Drew S. Griffith, DDS
Warren County, NJ

"Dan, I want to thank you for your invaluable assistance in the sale of my practice.  As a repeat client, I can say that you have consistently been tireless in your efforts to connect me to the right people to create a win/win agreement.  I would wholeheartedly recommend Choice Transitions to anyone contemplating a practice transition of their own."

Jack Paquette, DMD
Kent County, RI

I wish to recommend Dr. Fred Bacon of Choice Transmissions. He was the broker for the sale of my dental practice which was difficult and complicated. My practice had a number of impediments to a quick sale. However, Dr. Bacon succeeded where others had failed. He was able to locate a prospective buyer, and I am enjoying retirement today. Dr. Bacon made himself readily available and was easy to do business with.”

Robert Matthews, DDS
Anderson County, TN

Working with National Practice Transitions could not have been a better experience. Dan and NPT were terrific. They were on top of all the details from the beginning and were always looking out for my best interest. Their knowledge and experience was extensive making the process easy and I cannot thank Dan and NPT enough.

Edward Donley, DMD
Watertown, MA

“I used Choice Transitions for my practice sale.  The buyer had previous experience with them and I thought that would make the buyer more comfortable. They proved to be very thorough and eased the final sale with a prepared contract and patient announcement letter.”

Robert McCalla, DDS

“Thank you doesn’t convey the sentiments I have for making the sale of my practice go so smoothly and with ease.  NPT exceeded and surpassed any and all expectations I could have imagined!  Besides the professional component, I am greatly appreciative of all the emotional support you have given over the past months!”

Ron Levenbaum, DMD

Thanks to NPT, my practice had a very smooth transition. Even under the best circumstances, it is a complicated process with unexpected bumps in the road. I cannot imagine having done this without NPT.

Robert Bird, Jr., DDS
Litchfield County, CT

Dr. Harry Snydman was the broker who handled the sale of our practice. Harry turned every stone to find an excellent buyer and handled all of the details and paperwork, allowing us to concentrate on our patients. As a dentist himself he understands all of the nuances of practice transitions and will work tirelessly until you have a successful sale. He couldn’t have been better.

John D. Burkett, DDS
Wicomico County, MD

We want to thank you for your help and patience throughout this lengthy process. It is greatly appreciated!
